Having Dr. Hoover volunteer with us has been such a gift. Our patients absolutely love her and I totally understand why. Her chairside manner is incredible. She takes her time, listens, explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand, and treats every single person with kindness and respect. In the nonprofit world, it’s not always easy to find someone who has both the skills and a truly compassionate heart, but Dr. Hoover brings both in spades. Seeing her dream of opening Journey Dental become a reality makes me so happy, and I have no doubt she’s going to create an amazing, patient-centered practice. I honestly can’t wait to be one of her patients myself!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review for Journey Dental I walked into Journey Dental this morning honestly expecting the worst. My last experience at another dental office was terrible, so I arrived stressed and preparing myself mentally for bad news and discomfort. But from the moment I stepped inside, everything was different. The front desk staff greeted me with genuine kindness and professionalism. The atmosphere was calm, patient, and welcoming — which immediately helped me relax. Every single person I interacted with treated me with respect and care. When the doctor came in, I was blown away. So patient. So gentle. So understanding. They explained everything clearly, took their time, and made sure I was comfortable the entire visit. For the first time in a long time, I felt heard and taken care of at a dental office. My appointment went smoothly and successfully, and I left feeling relieved, grateful, and confident in my dental care — something I didn’t think was possible after my last experience. This was my first time going to the dentist in over 10 years. Due to past trauma and anxiety, I neglected my dental care for far too long. From the moment I walked into Journey Dental, I felt seen, respected, and completely at ease. The entire team was patient, gentle, and incredibly understanding. They took the time to explain everything and never made me feel embarrassed or judged. For the first time in a long time, I felt safe in a dental chair. For many years, I have faced considerable challenges in achieving full numbness during dental procedures. Which often lead to traumatizing pain during dental work or the necessity to costly and inconvenient sedation. Dr. Hoover attentively listen, and carefully analyze my past experiences. She was able to successfully get me numb without the need for sedation. This has been truly transformative in my dental experience. Throughout the procedure, she insured complete comfort, not only did she help me save a substantial financial burden, but she also provided invaluable peace of mind. This dental office is the best I have experienced through this type of medical profession. The staff is welcoming, friendly and calming. Procedures are explained and exrays shared. The devotion to clients is a 10+. Dr. Hoover and her office are invaluable to me.

I highly recommend Journey Dental in Kissimmee. I arrived apprehensive and without high expectations, and I left relieved looking forward to a solid treatment plan tailored for me and my specific needs. Dr.Hoover and her team, Made the process of getting 3 cavities filled and a crown put on painless. Very professional and polite. Offered several times to take a break if I needed one. But it was so smooth & quick I was able to sit through the whole thing without taking a break. Highly recommend going to her she’s got the hands of an angel and is very good at what she does.

Dr Hoover and all of her staff are very wonderful and comforting to receive dental care from. Dr Hoover and Staff take great care into keeping me at ease, and they are not pushy and explain every part of a procedure and payment process very clearly to help keep your piece of mind. If I could hang out here I would, it's such a relaxing environment! Great Job, Dr. Hoover and Staff and thank you!!!
